The End is Here

Well, it came faster than we all thought it would. On Friday morning we said good bye to our last camp of the summer. It came so fast! None of us could believe that it was already time to pack things up and say Good Bye.

It was an awesome summer at UCYC. Ponderosa camp (elementary age) saw over 2,000 kids in 9 weeks!!!! The theme for the summer was 'Strike of the Thunderkick Tiger'. It was a martial arts theme and the kids loved it. They walked away challenged to live their lives for Christ, welcome kids who are outsiders into their lives, and to serve others as Christ served.

The picture below is of the staff that worked in Ponderosa. They are an awesome bunch of college students who gave up a summer to love on kids. Please be praying for these guys as they head back to school and make decisions about their futures..........
