Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. Tye found out last week that he was going to have a three day weekend for the Fourth, so we took advantage of it and planned a weekend trip. We opted to go somewhere we had never been and headed to Bend, OR. We thought it was in the mountains (it's a ski resort town during the winter for Mt. Bachelor, which is the largest ski resort in Oregon) turns out, it's the desert of the Northwest. It actually was beautiful weather. It never got much warmer than the 80's and was sunshine and beautiful the entire time we were there. It was a great weekend of rest and relaxation. Our room had a 2 person hot tub and a fireplace in it. Which, because it gets in the 40's at night, you can totally use both without dying. Sunday, we did some shopping and headed to a fun center and played mini golf and the batting cages. It was a LOT of fun and I killed Tye at both. Check out the pics from the weekend.

Tye was brave and went into the fast pitch baseball cage. He actually did really well after he yelled "Oh Sh*t!" when the first pitch came wizzing by him.
