These pictures are long overdue. When we went to Durango for Valentine's Day we went with some friends who are National Park enthusiasts. And by enthusiasts, I mean they are trying to go to every park that they can. It's really cool because Tye and I manage to sit on our butts and do nothing. So in a way, these friends have inspired us to go see things. At any rate, when we were on our way home from Durango, we went to Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. It's such a cool place and one of those places that Colorado natives never go to. Much like Arizona people who never go to the Grand Canyon. Same thing.Mesa Verde is indian cliff dwellings. I had only ever seen them in pictures. It is really cool to think that these guys were so strategic in where they placed the dwellings. You can read more about it online. http://www.nps.gov/meve/
Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Everyone checking out the views.

Ryan is taking pictures of the inside of the Sun Temple.

Mattie is inside the Comfort Station port a potty. We all stood outside and talked to her, waiting for her to come out.

This canyon was lined with dwellings. It was said to house hundreds of people.

Cliff Palace.

This dwelling housed 80 or so people. It doesn't look big enough to do that.
