A Success!

This Presidents Day weekend we headed to Colorado Springs to give my Mom here Christmas gift. After our last adventure a year and a half ago, she's been back to dreaming about what our next adventure would be and she landed on snowshoeing. So on Saturday, my mom, sister, and I headed to Breckenridge to try a new adventure. We didnt know what to expect and had heard mixed reviews about how hard it is to snowshoe but it ended up being really easy to pick up and an absolute blast!

The weather report said there was a winter storm advisory with high winds and cold temps. It ended up being clear as can be with little wind and slightly warm temps. Perfect!

Follow the blue snowshoe man for 2 1/2 miles of stunning views!

Gettin ready to play in the snow.

My sister taking on the snow like a pro.

Sam dared me to get up on top of this very deep snow mound. It took a little work but I did it!

Almost done with the trail.

X marks the spot. Ma is a snowshoeing professional.

We have lots more pictures to share a little later. If you get the chance to go snowshoeing, do it! Its a blast!!
