We hope this bloggy Christmas letter finds you all doing well. This has been a great year and we have been blessed to get to do so many things, visit so many people, and work the great jobs that we get to. We've decided to sum up an exciting year with some highlights and pictures of what we were up to. We hope you enjoy a little of our life in pictures.
January and February brought a few winter camps at UCYC. I got the the chance to be the speaker for the 4th thru 6th grade camp. The theme was Rock Band. We talked about how although everyone is different , we all have something to contribute.
Durango, Colorado was the destination of choice for Valentines Day and we were so lucky to be joined by two other couples that we love. A weekend of snowboarding and friends that we won't ever forget!

Tye finally got to do his half marathon in May. He and our friend Greg did the Whiskey Row Half Marathon. It's one of the ugliest courses in America. They did it in record time.
We saw record numbers at UCYC this summer and it was an absolute blast. Here's a group picture from one of our weeks of camp. What a blessing to be a part of this incredible ministry!

In August, we were able to go to Colorado Springs to surprise Jenn's mom for her 50th birthday. What a great time to catch up with the family.

Another trip to California to celebrate the end of another crazy summer. We layed by the beach, went to Disneyland, and ate like pigs. What a great few days of relaxation.

We had an incredible opportunity to take Jenn's mom backpacking into the Grand Canyon in October. Breathtaking sights and a bunch of laughter sum this trip up best. One of the greatest trips we took this year.

Following our time in the Grand Canyon, it was time to head to Las Vegas with one of our best couple friends, the Marr's. We had a great weekend relaxing, shopping, and people watching. Thanks, Kevin and Whitney!!

November brought the nomination of Tye for the Arizona Flight Instructor of the Year Award. Although he didn't receive the award, we were proud nonetheless.

We got to head to Lubbock to have Thanksgiving with Tye's family. It was a great time and wonderful to see everyone. Since almost everyone was together it was time to get some pictures taken. Tye's nephew, Nick needed a belt so he got to borrow Uncle Tye's giant belt buckle.

A Thanksgiving picture with Tye's Granddad and his wife Lila. How great it was to be with family.
As this year comes to a close, we are so grateful for all the people and places we were able to see and we look forward to a new adventure in 2010. Tye has taken a new job with a company called Ameriflight and we will be moving to a new state in January. Although we are sad to leave our awesome home in Prescott and all the family and friends we have here, we are excited to start an incredible new adventure.
We hope you have an incredible season celebrating the birth of Christ. Let's not forget why this time of year is important.
With Love,
Tye and Jenn
