Fishing

A few weeks ago, we took our returning summer staffers on a retreat to Mingus Springs Camp. It's about 45 minutes outside of Prescott.  It was for the purpose of building up and training our staff and a time of rest and relaxation before the business of camp got started.
Mingus Springs Camp is in a really secluded area with no cell service and no computer access. Obviously this lends itself to be a very quiet place.  There is tons of hiking and places to explore AND there is a pond for fishing.  I decided to take my fly rod up and give it a whirl.  I have never fly fished in my life and have really only ever seen it done on tv.  It was a pretty successful few days.......I managed to catch 2 fish, 2 trees, and one bush........pretty successful.  I recommend fly fishing to anyone looking for something relaxing to do. There is something really soothing and peaceful about the way you cast a fly line.  Check out a pic of my first catch.
