David Nail/Lady Antebellum Concert

In late October, the week we were moving away from Vancouver in fact, I learned that an old college friend of mine was going to be in Portland. Well this college friend of mine, Justin Ostrander, moved to Nashville a few years back to be a guitarist. He was someone that I played guitar with a few times while attending school in Kansas. He is an incredible musician. Anyway, Justin was in town playing guitar for a country singer named David Nail. If you haven't ever heard his music you should check it out. It's really good. David was opening for Lady Antebellum, which is one of the hottest country groups out there right now. I had commented on Justin's facebook welcoming him to the Pacific Northwest. Through a series of conversations, it ended up that Justin had some VIP passes for the show and he wanted to give them to us!!!! So we hurried to Portland and met up with Justin in the lobby and were shown to our seats. Oh, not just seats. Hang out with the sound guys in the booth seats. Awesome!

This was an entirely sold out show and this was the view from our seats.

Justin is the guitar player on the left in this picture. He was incredible.

Lady Antebellum gettin going. They are pretty great live.

Chilling with Justin and the band in David Nail's bus. This was such a once in a lifetime experience that I'm so glad we went to. Justin is right behind Tye.
Thanks Justin for the passes and an awesome night hanging out with you and the guys. It was so great to see you again!
