Mingus Springs

Yesterday morning, the program team from UCYC (for all you readers out there who are unaware, this is the team from camp that I am a part of) packed up a couple of vehicles and headed about an hour outside of Prescott. We went to another camp called Mingus Springs Camp. This is the location of our returning summer staff leadership camp. We are excited because this is the first time we are going to do a seperate camp experience for 2-3 year returners. The camp is located in the tall pines and it's an awesome place of quiet retreat. Before the returners even get to camp, they will meet at the base of the mountain and hike up a trail to the camp. This was one of the reasons for our trip yesterday. We needed to hike down the trail to see how long it was, what the terrain was like, and how long it would take. Above, is the picture from the top. Isn't it great?
We are looking forward to a great summer with lots and lots of kids and God doing amazing things.
